Membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and the Silent Knight Soaring Association (SKSS) is required to participate in SKSS club flying activities.

The AMA is a wonderful organization that provides many services - including a million dollar liability insurance policy covering members when they fly models. Plus you get a great monthly magazine ... and G-Force Hobby (a local hobby vendor) gives you a 10% discount on all purchases with your AMA card.

SKSS dues are primarily used to cover maintenance costs for our flying site at White Clay Creek Park. (Map)

White Clay Creek Park is part of the state park system ... so every SKSS member must have a Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) ANNUAL PASS (park sticker) in order to enter and park at the SKSS field. Link to DNREC is here.
